In Kulpin, there is a castle of the same name. The historical data indicate that the facilities were built for the noble family Stratimirović at the end of 18th and beginning of 19th century. In 1745, Maria Theresa gave to this family this estate for their credits in fight against the Turks in favor of Austria. The Stratimirović family was the owner of this estate for about 120 years. At the end of 19th century, the estate came into possession of the Dunđerski family, who owned it until 1945, when the estate was nationalized. By its style, this castle belongs to classicism epoch. The big castle got is present look after the restoration in 1912, while smaller one, so-called Old castle is a ground-floor building of the same style.
Today, the big castle is a home to the Agricultural museum, and several family trees of Stratimirović and Dunđerski families. The small castle was turned into local government offices and offices of Kulpin citizen associations. Both castles are cultural monuments of high importance.

The “Kaštel” castle is situated about 60 kilometres north from Belgrade and only 7 kilometres away from Zrenjanin, in Ečka village. It was built in the English style. The constructing lasted from 1816 till 1820. The castle was built by the Lazar family and at the official opening ceremony, on August 28, 1820, Franz Liszt, a famous violinist, played. Nowadays, this old edifice has been completely redecorated and adapted, so that today it is a object that can offer its guests unforgettable holiday in the authentic atmosphere, which is inspired by its aristocratic past.

The Fantast castle, built by Bogdan Dundjerski The Fantast castle, known as the Dundjerski castle is the most beautiful and luxurious castle in Vojvodina, built by Bogdan Dundjerski. It was built in 1925. on the model of the French castles of the time in the neo-Gothic style with a dominant tower and four corner towers. In the castle complex there is a church dedicated to St. George, which was painted by a famous Serbian painter Uroš Predić, a good friend of Bogdan Dundjerski.
According to the legend Bogdan Dundjerski has never been married but had three great loves: women, horses and wine. Bogdan‘s big love was certain Mara, wife of Bogdan’s blacksmith. Bogdan fell in love with Mara at his property where she often came with her husband. When the blacksmith realized what was going on, it appeared a big problem but Bogdan found a solution. He gave a blacksmith 21 acres of land and some money and the beautiful Mara became a hostess at the court. In front of the palace there was a pool which was often filled with milk by Bogdan, they say, and Mara would bathed in it,… and when Uroš Predić painted the castle church, Bogdan had only one wish – that Virgin Mary gets Mara’s face!
