Subotica
The City of Subotica is located on the north of the Republic of Serbia, along the main European corridors and between two rivers: the Danube and the Tisa. Rich cultural heritage assets, intricately decorated buildings, multicultural spirit and European charm – these are the features that make this city distinctive. Subotica is known for its relaxed atmosphere, good food and quality wines. Festivals, events, concerts, vibrant cultural life all year long are all the more reason to visit our city. On top of that, Subotica offers a lot of interesting places for rest and leisure, for activities around the lakes, on horse farms and paddocks, farmsteads, in forests and hunting areas.
Palic Lake
The lake and the settlement by the same name are 8 kilometres east of Subotica. Palić offers something new and enriching at any season that little can be on a par with. Outstanding facilities from the beginning of the 20th century: the Water Tower, the Grand Terrace, the Women’s Lido and the Music Pavilion, a delightful park, the well-known lake, peace and quiet make Palic an ideal space for rest and relaxation. Currently Palić provides high category hotels, renewed luxury and comfortable villas in the so called “Palic style”, several lodgings and private boarding houses. Excellent restaurants and cafés, sport and recreation facilities, three arranged beaches, a thermal pool, the Zoo, bike paths, walking paths, a range of events, the buzz of a cultural life and entertainment possibilities make the comprehensive offer of the Palic Tourist Center.
Winery Zvonko Bogdan
Vinarija Zvonko Bogdan, established in 2008 on the shores of Lake Palić in Serbia, is one of the most beautiful and modern wine châteaux in the Balkans. Named after the legendary traditional folk singer Zvonko Bogdan, it is housed in a magnificent Secession-style building that reflects the unique architecture of the region. The winery owns 56 hectares of vineyards and combines state-of-the-art French technology with the rich winemaking traditions of the Palić area. Renowned for its premium wines (such as Cuvee No.1, 8 Tamburaša, and Život teče), it is also a major wine tourism hub, offering guests exquisite tasting rooms, a luxury barrel cellar, and an authentic traditional farmstead (salaš) for events and celebrations.
